Conditional section in Google Docs template
What are conditional sections?
Conditional sections are snippets of your document that only show up if specific conditions are met. This is especially useful if you want to personalize content based on Google Docs variable values.
Setting up your Google Docs template
First things first, let's set up your Google Docs template. You'll need to add placeholders for the sections you want to show conditionally. Here's a quick way to get started:
Create a new Google Doc or open an existing one.
Identify the sections you want to conditionally display and wrap them with a unique identifier. You can use comments or specific tags like {{section_example}} and {{/section_example}}.
Save your document and keep it handy for the next steps.
Connecting Google Docs variables with Airtable fields via Typeflow
Next, you need to map the data in Typeflow.

And finally, you will see a new section in the Typeflow configuration. Inside it, you can choose based on which variable you want to show or hide a section, and what the conditions are.

When the PDF is generated, Typeflow will consider this condition to hide or show this section.
